First Aid at Work Requalification (inc. Emergency Paediatric First Aid) Course Description

First Aid at Work Requalification training course

This is a 2 day/12 hour requalification course for people who hold the 3 day/18 hour First Aid at Work qualification.

IMPORTANT: Learners must have a valid First Aid at Work certificate that is within 3 months before expiry and 1 month after expiry.  Learners are requalified from the same date on the certificate +3 years so no time is gained or lost by coming back early or late.  If coming back after the expiry date the person is not a qualified first aider during the 30 days grace period.

The original course must have been at least 50% classroom training.  100% online first aid courses are not valid!

NOTE: this course now includes the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course syllabus. The certificate is valid for both qualifications.

This is the best general first aid course that is compliant with the Health & Safety Executive requirements.
It covers all the most common serious illnesses and injuries that can occur in the work place.
The skills learnt on this course can help save lives at work, home, and at play.

This was HSE Approved until the HSE deregulation of first aid occurred in October 2013. Now it is HSE Compliant and level 3 equivalent.

The First Aid At Work (FAW) training course is also highly recommended for anyone with an interest in first aid or who find themselves caring for relatives.

NOTE: this course now includes the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course syllabus. The certificate is valid for both qualifications. HSE Compliant and Level 2 equivalent.

The course syllabus is as required under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

On successful completion this gives the learner the right to be an ‘First Aider in the Work Place’.

On completion of training successful candidates will be able to:
