This first aid course is aimed at teaching children and young people basic first aid skills i.e. the attendees are children.

It can be customised to suite the age range and number attending. It would usually be a mixture of video, pictures and practical sessions.

Suggested content:

• Calling for help
• Checking a casualty
• Recovery position
• CPR (including using and/or locating an AED)
• Burns
• Bleeds - just the basicsbut some important issues can be covered.

Typically a classroom support person will need to be provided to help deliver the course... especially if there are lots of children on the course.
