Ofqual Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance Course Liverpool

First Aid For All has been delivering first aid training on Merseyside since 2017, and most of that work is onsite in Liverpool itself: over the last three years we have run courses at the premises of youth and community organisations and support services across the city, from Basic First Aid for volunteers to Emergency First Aid at Work for employed staff. Our lead trainer for Merseyside lives in Liverpool, with colleagues based in Southport, St Helens and Widnes, so a course at your own site can usually be arranged at short notice on a date that suits you.

We have run open public courses in Knowsley before and intend to again. Until a Liverpool date is scheduled, the nearest public dates are listed below with their distance from the city, and registering your interest means you hear first when a local date goes on sale.

Award in the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of Assessment Processes & Practice (Ofqual RQF Level 4)

This qualification is for existing Internal Quality Assurance personnel who wish to progress onto leading a team performing Internal Quality Assurance within a centre or other place of learning.

The qualification will confirm competence and will support a role in the workplace.

This qualification relates to the Professional Standards in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, supported by the Education and Training Foundation. It is available across the UK. The qualification can also be delivered internationally; however, learners should be aware that the protocols meet current UK guidelines.

Benefit for Learners: This qualification demonstrates competence and provides recognition of knowledge and understanding of leading the internal quality assurance of assessment processes and practices in a training provider, FE college or an organisation’s inhouse training department in a variety of sectors. This qualification could help progression into a quality assurance role.

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be aged 19 years and over to take this qualification. Learners must have sufficient command of the English language to understand and undertake the recommended assessment methods for this qualification. There are no other pre-requisites for this qualification. However, learners should be able to work at level 3 and above.

The course is normally delivered with day 1 in a classroom.  The course can be delivered with additional classroom or online guided hours to meet the needs of the learners.  Further self-study hours are required to complete the required portfolio of work.
