Ofqual Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance Course Lancaster

Two of our first aid trainers live in Lancaster, so First Aid For All can deliver onsite courses across Lancaster, Morecambe and the Lune Valley without the long journey that keeps many providers away from the north of the county. Recent onsite work in the area has been Emergency First Aid at Work for a care provider, and our Lancaster trainers also deliver courses for employers across Lancashire. For a group, an onsite course at your premises is the best option: Emergency First Aid at Work in one day, First Aid at Work over three days, or Paediatric First Aid for nurseries and childminders.

We do not run open public dates in Lancaster yet. The nearest scheduled public dates are listed below with their distance from the city, and if you need a place for one or two people you can register your interest and we will let you know when a date closer to Lancaster is arranged.

Award in the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of Assessment Processes & Practice (Ofqual RQF Level 4)

This qualification is for existing Internal Quality Assurance personnel who wish to progress onto leading a team performing Internal Quality Assurance within a centre or other place of learning.

The qualification will confirm competence and will support a role in the workplace.

This qualification relates to the Professional Standards in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, supported by the Education and Training Foundation. It is available across the UK. The qualification can also be delivered internationally; however, learners should be aware that the protocols meet current UK guidelines.

Benefit for Learners: This qualification demonstrates competence and provides recognition of knowledge and understanding of leading the internal quality assurance of assessment processes and practices in a training provider, FE college or an organisation’s inhouse training department in a variety of sectors. This qualification could help progression into a quality assurance role.

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be aged 19 years and over to take this qualification. Learners must have sufficient command of the English language to understand and undertake the recommended assessment methods for this qualification. There are no other pre-requisites for this qualification. However, learners should be able to work at level 3 and above.

The course is normally delivered with day 1 in a classroom.  The course can be delivered with additional classroom or online guided hours to meet the needs of the learners.  Further self-study hours are required to complete the required portfolio of work.
