First Aid for Mental Health and Wellbeing training for working with children.

This Mental Health training course is aimed at anyone looking after or working with children. Staff will gain the skills and knowledge to support children with their mental health and wellbeing.

The course is relevant for both primary and secondary school mental health training.

Staff will be able to:

• show others what they need to do on a mental health crisis
• demonstrate how you are putting mental health and wellbeing initiatives into practice
• prevent mental health concerns becoming issues
• understand child mental health and wellness issues
• develop plans for dealing with a mental health crisis in your workplace
• develop pathways to ensure children gain a successful referral when needed
• demonstrate to Ofsted how you can support a child with their mental health and wellbeing
• develop a overall strategy for managing mental health in your workplace
• signpost staff and children to relevant resources for supporting mental health and wellbeing

This course can be delivered by Zoom/Teams, in your own venue, or in one of our venues.
