Outdoor and Forest School First Aid (inc. Paediatric First Aid) Course Description

Outdoor First Aid for forest schools and other outdoor activities involving children and adults.

NOTE: this is a 16 hour course split over 2 days: 8 hours per day. This is a longer day than most other first aid courses.

The course syllabus includes all the skills and knowledge required in the following nationally recognised qualifications:

  • Emergency First Aid at Work (6 hour)
  • Paediatric First Aid (12 hour)
  • Outdoor and Forest School First Aid (16 hour)

The certificate is valid for all 3 qualifications.

The training covers adult, child, and baby casualties.

On open/public courses we have identified suitable areas within walking distance but for private courses (at your own venue) we need to discuss this in detail: not all workplaces will be in a suitable location for this course to be delivered.
