Annual Skills Update 3 hour Training Description
Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid At Work annual skills update 3 hour course.
This course is highly recommended by the HSE to help prevent skills fade in workplace first aiders.
HSE suggested course content for the first aid annual refresher training:
- Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency.
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure).
- Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding.
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock.
IMPORTANT: you must have a current Emergency First Aid at Work, Emergency Paediatric First Aid, or First Aid at Work certificate to attend this course.
