First Aid For Schools Training Description
First Aid For Schools: first aid for school staff and people caring for children.
This is an Ofqual Level 3 first aid qualification.
The course will cover:
- The role of the first aider
- Primary survey
- Communication with, and care for, child casualties
- CPR & AED for adult, child, and baby
- Unresponsive casualty
- Seizures
- Severe allergic reaction (use or auto-injectors)
- Asthma
- Choking
- Minor wounds, bleeding and shock
- Head injuries
- Injury to bones, muscles and joints
NOTE: the nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work and/or the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course may be more appropriate for you. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will be happy to help.
