This is the +F (forestry) first aid requirement, usually added to a standard first aid course but it can be run as a separate course.
These are the +F first aid topics we cover:
- Dealing with a severe bleed inc. tourniquets: genuine and improvised
- Crush injury
- Tick bites, tick removal and Lyme disease
- Hypothermia (we also include heat exhaustion and heat stroke)
