A 1 day First Aid for Mental Health in the Workplace training course at your venue or one of ours. To give all employees a good understanding and awareness of mental health in the workplace. It is suitable for all staff.

You will leave this mental health training course with the knowledge to be able to start conversations with colleagues about workplace mental health issues and be able to sign-post people to further help and assistance.  You will understand positive and negative behaviour and attitudes towards workplace mental health issues and be able to help your organisation become mental health aware. 

Syllabus

• Overview of workplace mental health
• Recognising possible signs and symptoms of a person that has mental ill-health
• Understanding Mental Health and its stigma
• Using a Mental Health Action Plan to help those in crisis or need
• Finding external professional help and guidance
• The law in relation to mental health and the workplace
• Best Practice in the workplace e.g. when helping someone to stay in work or return to work
