Award in Education and Training Manchester-Audenshaw

This is the nationally recognised Ofqual approved Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET).

This AET course can be delivered in a variety of ways e.g. a 3 day classroom AET course, 1 or 2 days classroom and 1 or 2 days blended/online AET course, or a 4-day classroom or blended course. The 4 day AET course allows for additional micro teach sessions so new trainers are able to immediately register with FAIB for the delivery of FAIB regulated first aid training.

The course will give learners the confidence and knowledge to teach adults. Learners will be able to create and deliver effective and inclusive training sessions for a wide range of adult education qualifications.

Level 3 Award in Education and Training an introduction to teaching.

Understand how to prepare, plan, deliver and evaluate teaching and learning sessions.
(there is a minimum requirement to deliver a micro teaching session.)

• Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training 
• Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approches in education and training
• Understaning assessments in education and training.

• those not currently teaching or training – achievement of the qualification only requires microteaching (unless units from the Learning and Development suite of qualifications are selected);

• those currently teaching and training (including those who have just begun teaching and training) – although the qualification only requires microteaching (unless units from the Learning and Development suite of qualifications are selected), opportunities may be made available to observe and provide feedback on a trainee teacher's practice;

• those currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.

This is a lifetime qualification, it does not expire.
