This is a half day/ 3 hour Fire Warden training course This is an excellent course for managers and staff to gain knowledge of their legal requirements of fire safety in the workplace. Learners will come away with a good understanding of fire risks and threats and be able to apply this knowledge to their specific workplace. Topics covers include: Role of a Fire Warden Employee's duties UK fire safety legislation Fire safety procedures Fire prevention/common causes Arson Chemistry of fire Fire protection Fire risk assessment, the emergency plan Fire drills/evacuation Fire control Fire doors Safety briefings Signage Extinguisher recognition and use (theory and practical)

Driving: M60 J23 Ashton-under-Lyne (Snipe Retail Park). We are 1 min from northbound exit. 3 min from southbound exit. Bus: 219, stop is 10 meters from venue Train: Guide Bridge station is 5-8 minutes walk Access to building: press buzzer for First Aid For All. Any issues, call 0161 250 16 16. Free tea and coffee. General store 50m away for snacks and sandwiches. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the course start time.
