Baby And Child First Aid Course London-Southwark

First aid for children and babies training course.

This course will provide the knowledge and skills for child and baby first aid. 

It is ideal for new parents, occasional support workers, midday assistants, and people that do not require either the 6 hour/1 day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course of the 12 hour/2 day Paediatric First Aid course.

The course content can be customised to meet your requirements but we suggest we cover:

• The importance of preventing cross infection
• The special needs of infants and children
• Administer first aid to a baby or child who is unresponive (including seizure)
• Administer CPR including using an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
• Administer first aid to a baby or child who is choking
• Administer first aid to a baby or child who is wounded or bleeding
• Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries including small cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns and scalds, splinters
• Respond appropriately to bites and stings
