1.5 Hours Life-Threatening Bleeding, Severe Bleeds, Tourniquets Course Details |
Introduction to Life-Threatening Bleeding: Severe Bleed Trauma: Tourniquet and Wound Dressing. This training is relevant to everybody and with the introduction of Martyn's Law, bleed control kits and equipment are available in most town and city centres as well as large recreational venues. The care gap is the time between a critical incident occurring and the arrival of professionals able to gain access and treat casualties. Bridging the care gap is a crucial initiative which, in the event of a serious incident, aims to save lives.
Attending this Critical Bleed/Trauma Training session will provide you with vital information and show you how to deal with severe bleeds. The skils learnt will help to give casualties the best possible outcomes using limited equipment and before medical professionals arrive.
You will get hands on with various different types of tourniquets. This session will included: • Casualty assessment
• Tourniquets and improvised tourniquets
• Wound packing and improvised dressings
• Safe use of tourniquets and wound dressings • Practice sessions All equipment is provided. Life-Threatening Bleeding, Severe Bleeds, Tourniquets Qualification: 6444.301823 |
