Online First Aid for Mental Heath training course via Zoom

This is delivered to attendees by a qualified mental health instructor via Zoom at the specific times stated.  The course may be delivered in 1 session or split into multiple sessions.  Please make sure you can attend all the required times.

Introduction to First Aid for Mental Health in the Workplace. A half day/ 3.5 hour workplace mental health awareness course.

This is an overview of workplace mental health suitable for all staff. 

The course will help get conversations started in your workplace and make staff think about workplace mental health, and behaviour and attitudes towards workplace mental health issues. 

Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace – 1/2 day 3.5 hour Syllabus

1. Introduction to workplace Mental Health 

• Overview of workplace mental health
• Understanding “First Aid for Mental Health” and its role

2. Recognising & Responding Mental Health Challenges

• Identifying possible signs and symptoms of mental ill-health

3. Understanding Mental Health

• Understanding Mental Health and addressing stigma in the workplace

4. Supporting Individuals

• How to provide support and access help for individuals in crisis or need
