Evacuation Chair Train the Trainer Training Description
Train the Trainer Evacuation Chair training course for current trainers who want to deliver Evacuation Chair training courses.
The course includes a Powerpoint presentation.
Evacuation chair training.
This evac chair training course will give staff the knowledge and ability to safely use an evacuation chair including:
- Deployment and handling of the evacuation chair and passenger
- Placement/installation locations of chairs
- Multiple uses of evacuation chairs
There is a lot of hands-on practice during the evacuation chair course. For private/onsite Evac Chair training at your premises we will use your own evacuation chair that you would use in an evacuation. Alternatively, on public evac chair courses we will use our our own evacuation chairs. If needed, these can also be used at your premises: if you don't yet have your own evac chair.

All attendees are required to demonstrate they can safely evacuate a casualty from your premises using the chair.
Attendees will also be given the opportunity to be evacuated in the chair so they fully understand the issues and how it feels to be the service user.
