Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Training

This course is for workplaces that want staff to be able to respond to a not breathing casualty and make best use of an onsite AED.

• Angina: Recognise symptoms of angina and provide appropriate first aid support.
• CPR and AED: Deliver high-quality chest compressions and integrate AED use during CPR.
• Choking: Administer first aid to a casualty who is choking.
• Heart attack: Identify common signs of a heart attack and respond promptly.
• Initial Assessment, communication, and care: Perform initial checks and communicate clearly to ensure proper casualty care.
  
• Unresponsive casualty: Position an unresponsive casualty safely to maintain airway and breathing.
• Role of an AED first aider: Understand responsibilities when acting as an AED-trained first aider.
