Evacuation Chair Training Description

Evacuation chair training.

This half day (3 hour) onsite course will give staff the knowledge and ability to safely use an evacuation chair including:

Deployment and handling of the evacuation chair and passenger
Placement/installation locations of chairs
Multiple uses of evacuation chairs

Almost all the of the evacuation chair course is hands on practice using your own evacuation chair that you have in your premises. Alternatively we have our own evacuation chair that can be used at our premises or yours. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

All attendees are required to demonstrate they can evacuate a casualty from your premises using the chair.

Attendees will also be given the opportunity to be evacuated in the chair so they fully understand the issues and how it feels to be the service user.
