This course is often used as a refresher course for people who have previously attended the 1 day Moving and Handling of People course. However, it can be delivered as first time training for small groups of staff when not as much practical training time is required. The course covers the theory and practice of the moving, handling and hoisting of people. Covering safe, approved techniques and also identifying unsafe techniques. Topics covered: Identify the importance of safe moving and handling of people.
